Rooted in tradition, the bridal portrait is the southern must-have prior to your wedding day! A bridal portrait is a special photoshoot between the bride and her photographer without any other pomp and circumstance or focal points. A bride typically will choose a venue totally different than the setting of the wedding or on location at a place dear to her heart. During this time, the bride is able to do a full “wedding day look” trial run with hair, makeup, bridal gown, veil, accessories and her bridal bouquet. It is such special time for the bride to envision exactly what she will look like on her special day and have the opportunity to take an extended amount of time to capture the essence of her bridal beauty! Additionally, this time allows the bride to become more comfortable with her photographer, creates better communication between the two and will help her see which poses are the most flattering for her upcoming nuptials. On the wedding day, these portraits become a beautiful addition to the overall décor displayed for all friends and family to admire.
Amidst a rainy and dreary day, Caroline and Knox tied the knot in one of the most beautiful settings we could have imagined! A translucent tent ceremony, allowing full view of the inclement weather, ultimately provided the perfect backdrop for this classic, vintage, yet modern styled celebration. With rich, lush floral arrangements in various hues of peach, merlot and plum against a bricked architectural masterpiece of the Mopac Event Venue, this room transformation set the tone for an incredible reception and evening of festivity. Congratulations to the beautiful couple!
PS: Check out their adorable dogs that made their way down the aisle as well!
Caroline is the epitome of pure, timeless elegance in her Pronovias bridal gown customized with lace train detailing by our friends at Altered for Altar. A chic and clean modified a-line gown with bateau neckline, covered buttons and tailored bow at back waist exude nothing short of classic beauty for our exquisite LuLus bride. The bridesmaids are just as graceful in a mix of floor length and hi-low gowns in a hue of soft blue paired with stunning ivory and sage green florals. The Adolphus Hotel, known for resplendent grandeur, is the perfect setting to complete this dream of a wedding!
Mikaella Bridal is one of our favorite new designers! They strike a balance between classic silhouettes and the latest trends, perfect for the bride with a youthful, modern sprit. LuLus Bride, Lesley, wore style 2063 – an airy combination of lace and tulle with a sleeveless bodice, plunging neckline and horsehair hem detail.
